Jenny Watts and Brayden Baird are two NYC music professionals turned songwriting sweethearts. Their new project JAND distills the couple’s mutual love of early 2000’s lofi-indie torchbearers, folk troubadours and punk legends. Watts and Baird discovered their shared passion for songwriting while out on their second date. Now, they’re bringing their songs to a larger audience, joined by Pat Freeman on lead guitar, as well as bassist Will Salwen and Drummer Pat Fagan. Hosting endearing anthems, driving grooves, sunny guitars, and lighthearted vocals, JAND has traded indie sleaze for indie cheaze. The result is introspective songwriting for lovers and loners.
